According to rumours in Spain, Chelsea will beat Real Madrid to the signing of RB Leipzig sensation Benjamin Sesko in January.
Real and Chelsea are both looking for a new No. 9.Jude Bellingham may have scored seven goals in eight games for the latter, but he is a midfielder by trade, whereas Nicolas Jackson has only scored two goals in eight games for the former since joining from Villarreal in the summer.
Karim Benzema, the winner of the Ballon d’Or, left Real for Al-Ittihad this summer, and Endrick, a Palmeiras prospect, is expected to sign in 2019.As a stopgap, Joselu was obtained on loan from Espanyol.
There is no assurance that Endrick will be ready at the age of 18, so Madrid has expanded their search, and if Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe turn out to be out of reach, Victor Osimhen and Sesko are on their shortlist.

Sesko and Osimhen, two strikers who have been associated with Real Madrid, are on Pochettino’s list of potential additions because his team is in need of goals, according to Defensa Central’s Hugo Arenas.

Despite the Blues’ sluggish start to the season, Pochettino has been given a larger role in Chelsea’s recruitment strategy, and they are expected to support him in January’s pursuit of Sesko.
