According to sources, Chelsea is seeking to strengthen their striking group in January and has identified three potential candidates.

Ivan Toney, Ollie Watkins, and Benjamin Sesko are among the up-and-coming targets, according to GiveMeSport. Despite signing Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal and Christopher Nkunku during the summer transfer window, this is the case. In order to help the team secure a berth in the Champions League this season, Mauricio Pochettino now wants another attacker to join Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window.

Toney of Brentford is reportedly the top target, although the team anticipates fierce competition to land him.

Before being suspended for gambling offenses, the forward scored 32 goals in 68 Premier League games for the team. The next available month for Toney is January.

Manchester United’s interest in the former Newcastle player was also covered by FootballTranfers. Watkins, meanwhile, scored 15 goals in 37 Premier League games the previous season and is also a target for Chelsea.

Chelsea is also keeping an eye on Sesko for the upcoming winter transfer window, but this could be challenging given that the forward only recently transferred to Leipzig from RB Salzburg in the summer.

Chelsea for Nusa

It follows the news that Chelsea are keeping an eye on Norwegian wonderkid Antonio Nusa, who has been compared to Kylian Mbappe.

The Blues’ Deadline Day proposal of £23 million was rejected by Club Brugge, and they did not increase their offer as a result of failing to sell Conor Gallagher and Ian Maatsen.

However, the Evening Standard reports that Chelsea are still keen on signing the winger, as opposed to Mbappe. Nusa is desired by various clubs across Europe, including the west London club, thanks to performances like that.
