€12 million: Burnley target move to another club for 20-year-old to PSV Eindhoven, according to Foot Mercato.

Aster Vranckx has returned to VfL Wolfsburg after making only 11 appearances for AC Milan on loan last season. That hasn’t stopped other clubs, including Burnley, from showing an interest in him.

L’Equipe journalist Loc Tanzi reported near the end of June that the Clarets had made the first offer of €12 million to sign the midfielder.

According to Foot Mercato, Burnley are expected to lose the 20-year-old to PSV Eindhoven.

Vranckx is set to leave the Bundesliga, and his next stop is likely to be in the Netherlands. According to reports, the Belgium international is on the verge of joining the Eredivisie club, who are expected to pay around €12 million to secure his services.
Despite Fiorentina’s involvement, Foot Mercato believes the deal to bring the player to PSV is on track. Currently, the Serie A side is trailing in the race.

It should be noted that the €12 million fee PSV are expected to offer for Vranckx is the same as, or very close to, what Vincent Kompany’s side reportedly proposed to Wolfsburg a month ago.
