Bills Sign Another QB to Boost Defense Amid Cap Constraints

The Buffalo Bills will need to think outside the box to enhance their defense in order to make the playoffs because they have a lot of needs and limited salary room.

The Bills will probably need to go into the bargain bin in order to locate players if they plan to sign anyone via free agency.

Dorance Armstrong, a pass rusher for the Dallas Cowboys, was the guy that Buffalo signed, according to Sports Illustrated’s prediction that each team may sign.

According to Sports Illustrated, “Armstrong made the most of his limited opportunities behind a formidable core of pass rushers in Dallas.”

Given his potential, a lot of organizations might be ready to overlook his lack of starting experience. If that’s not the case, though, it would be prudent for the Bills to move quickly to potentially sign him at a low cost.

Buffalo’s cap room concerns prevent them from spending big money on free agents. In total, Armstrong, 26, produced 16 sacks during the previous two seasons.”

Although his primary role has been pass rush specialist, Armstrong has excelled in that role when he is on the field. Twelve quarterback hits, seven tackles for loss, and 7.5 sacks were his second-highest totals of the season.

The team’s best two pass rushers, Leonard Floyd and A.J. Epenesa, are scheduled to become free agents. The Bills must acquire players who can target the quarterback both in the draft and in free agency. The Bills should take a chance on Armstrong’s potential with greater playing time if he signs a deal that benefits the franchise.
