Aston Villa manager Emery: Playing Wolves will be challenging

It’s time to end their Wolves curse on Sunday, according to Unai Emery, the manager of Aston Villa.

Emery acknowledges that he and numerous other players have yet to triumph over their competitors.

“I haven’t defeated Wolverhampton, and some players here who have played in the last few years haven’t won,” he remarked.

“On Sunday, we’ll play a really challenging match. After yesterday’s game, I consider how we can be competitive there and increase our chances of winning every minute.

They have intense competition. Because the coach is doing a terrific job, I also admire him. Players like Matheus Cunha and Pedro Neto are having strong games right now.

“They are powerful and confident as they play with three center backs. Playing away is always challenging.

“It’s very tough to finish in the top four, and we are not competitors. There are other groups that are vying for those spots.

“We have to be very demanding and have faith when we have a chance to attain those spots at the table. We must develop as a team, striving to improve with each game and feel confident in our organization.

The following results show that we will feel secure playing against the top seven teams and being a contender for that.
