For one choice he made in yesterday’s Arsenal loss, a TalkSPORT analyst criticizes Mikel Arteta.

Jason Cundy, a pundit, was unimpressed with Mikel Arteta’s choice to start Bukayo Saka for Arsenal yesterday night.

Yesterday, when Manchester United lost twice in Europe, Arsenal lost for the first time in all competitions.

Last night, Brazilian Gabriel Jesus, who was chosen as a center-forward, scored a goal.

Since Leandro Trossard was well enough to start in the victory, Eddie Nketiah was moved to the bench.

Bukayo Saka began on the other side, which may have startled some supporters.

He wasn’t seeming totally fit when he was taken off at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.

Last night, Saka played for just 34 minutes before being replaced, and Mikel Arteta’s choice to start him has drawn criticism from Jason Cundy.

Instead, the 22-year-old might have employed Reiss Nelson, Fabio Vieira, or Emile Smith Rowe in that position.

Saka is undoubtedly one of Arsenal’s most crucial players, but controlling his playing time over the next weeks must come first.

Cundy is not pleased with Arteta’s choice about Saka.

Cundy remarked, “I have to say from what I did see Lens looked terrific in yesterday night’s game. While driving, I overheard a few Arsenal supporters discussing [Bukayo] Saka and how perhaps he shouldn’t play since we should be dealing with this.

And I genuinely believed that they could handle them without too much difficulty.

They may have somewhat undervalued Lens, but I couldn’t tell you anything about him.

He was limping about for much too long after getting hurt over the weekend. Now that he has paid the price, City is approaching.
