EPL: Arsenal gets a significant boost before facing Man City

For Arsenal, injuries have greatly improved before their encounter against Manchester City on October 8.

Bukayo Saka, who had another injury scare on Monday morning, exercised with Arsenal, while Thomas Partey, a midfielder, returned after a brief absence.

Saka scored on Saturday as Arsenal defeated Bournemouth 4-0.

After limping off against Tottenham Hotspur the weekend before, the England international was one of many players who could not practice in advance of the trip to Bournemouth.

At the Vitality Stadium, the 22-year-old was observed hobbling during the second half against Bournemouth and was replaced by Fabio Vieira after 76 minutes.

Saka received ‘a bad knock’ during the victory over Bournemouth, according to Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, who revealed this in his post-game interview.

Although the news was concerning, Saka trained normally on Monday in preparation for the match against Man City and their midweek UEFA Champions League match against RC Lens.
