Over the weekend, Nate Oats, the head coach of Alabama men’s basketball, created history.
He led the Crimson Tide to their first-ever NCAA Tournament Final Four berth.
Alabama defeated Clemson 89-82 last Friday to advance from the Elite Eight as the West Region champions.
Oats, and the team is getting closer to having the chance to claim its first-ever NCAA Tournament title. On social media, former football players showed their unbridled enthusiasm for the basketball club.
The football team’s motto, “LANK,” or Let All Naysayers Know, was personified by Coach Oats and crew.
In 2023, Alabama’s football team qualified for the College Football Playoffs after winning the Southeastern Conference championship. Its basketball program is currently in the NCAA Final Four.
