A Real Madrid player is on his way to AC Milan on loan.

AC Milan is no stranger to signing Real Madrid loan players. Brahim Diaz spent three seasons on loan at San Siro, where he established himself as a key player before returning to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer. The Italian giants appear to be interested in another highly rated Los Blancos player.

Alex Jimenez is the guy in question, and he presently plays for Castilla as one of their finest talents. However, it appears that his near future will be spent in Milan rather than Madrid.

According to The Athletic, Jimenez is set to leave Real Madrid and join AC Milan. He will sign a one-year loan agreement with a buy option.

Jimenez is only 18 years old. As a result, one would expect him to play in the AC Milan senior team in the near future. He is anticipated to practice with the first-team of the Italian giants but will largely play at the youth levels.

Jimenez’s decision makes sense in more ways than one. He would have witnessed how much Brahim benefited from his loan stay at AC Milan, and perhaps a stint in Italy could improve his growth as well.

Youth standouts at Castilla, on the other hand, have found it extremely difficult to break into the Real Madrid senior team. As a result, if Jimenez does wind up joining AC Milan on a permanent basis in the future, it has to be viewed as a victory for the youngster as well. At the end of the day, they are one of the largest clubs in the world.

Let’s see what Jimenez’s future holds. We can only wish him success as he moves to AC Milan.
