Milan’s Charles de Ketelaere has now left the Rossoneri to join Serie A rivals Atalanta on an initial loan deal.
The Belgian’s time at the Rossoneri has now ended after just one season, which proved to be a rather frustrating one as he failed to score even once for the club. He couldn’t nail down his position at the club, struggling to make any sort of mark.
Milan have now confirmed his departure, stating that the youngster is joining La Dea on an initial loan deal with Atalanta having to option to buy him permanently. The loan stint will end at the end of next season.
Milan and Atalanta had agreed terms over a move for the player earlier and it was left for the Belgian to make a decision, which took some time in coming but it has now finally been made. Gian Piero Gasperini has shown a keen expertise in making the most out of younger players and this could be another shot at that for him.
