Before Milan vs. Lazio, here are all the pertinent statistics: one home league loss since 1989;

Lazio has suffered loses in four of their past seven road league games (W3), matching their previous 25 away Serie A defeats (W15 D6).

In two of his previous three Serie A games at the San Siro against Lazio, including the most recent one in which the AC Milan defender scored to make it 2-0 in May, Théo Hernández has scored. Only against Torino (three goals) has he scored more goals than other teams presently playing in the league.

After recent victory over Hellas Verona and Cagliari, AC Milan will take on Lazio at San Siro this evening in an effort to make it three wins in a row in Serie A.

Milan has bounced back nicely after their 5-1 derby defeat to Inter, as they followed up a 0-0 draw in the Champions League against Newcastle United with victories of 1-0 and 3-1 over Verona and Cagliari in the league.

There haven’t been any draws in the past nine Serie A games between AC Milan and Lazio, with the Rossoneri winning six of them, including the most recent game (2-0 in May 2023) and the Biancocelesti winning three.

Milan may win two straight league games against the Biancocelesti without conceding a goal for the first time since 2004 (when Carlo Ancelotti and Roberto Mancini were the managers of the two teams). Milan defeated Lazio 2-0 in their most recent Serie A meeting in May.

Milan has triumphed over Lazio six times in their past seven Serie A (L1) home games. Only Fiorentina (50) and Roma (48) have achieved more home victories in Serie A than the Rossoneri’s 47 victories over the Biancocelesti.

Milan has won eight of their previous nine Serie A (L1) games while scoring an average of 2.44 goals per game during this span (the lone exception being against Inter on September 16). Additionally, throughout this span, Milan has scored in eight out of nine of those games.

Only previously under Stefano Pioli have the Rossoneri had a greater run of straight home victories in Serie A (six between April and September 2022). Milan have won their past five home league games.

Lazio might preserve two straight clean sheets in Serie A after their 2-0 victory over Torino in the midweek match, which would mark the first time since a streak of six straight clean sheets between February and April 2023.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek scored against Cagliari in Milan’s most recent game; the English midfielder hasn’t scored in back-to-back league games since April 2019 (when playing for Chelsea in the Premier League against Brighton and Cardiff).

Ciro Immobile of Lazio has scored eight goals in Serie A against Milan, which is the most of any player (three of those goals came at Meazza) and dates back to his debut goal against the Rossoneri in the tournament in February 2014.

With 188 encounters in all competitions, only four teams have faced Milan more times than Lazio. Of those, 84 were victories for Milan, followed by 64 draws and 40 victories for the team from the capital.

Since 1989, Milan has only ever suffered a home league defeat against the Biancocelesti once, which occurred in November of this year.
