Milan remain in the background as Luca Pellegrini closing in on Lazio transfer

Luca Pellegrini returned to Juventus this summer after spending the previous campaign on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt and Lazio, but he is now on the periphery.

The left-back was not included in the group Max Allegri sent on its preseason tour of the United States.

Il Corriere dello Sport via JuventusNews24 reports that Pellegrini is still eager to join his beloved Lazio.

Within the following 48 hours, there will be another interaction between the Bianconeri and the Biancocelesti, either in person or over the phone.

The goal will be to specify the transfer’s ultimate formula. There are currently two main possibilities, as the author describes.

The first is a two-year loan with an 8 million euro buy-back requirement. A one-year loan with a commitment to purchase at the same price but over numerous installments is the alternate formula.

Milan stays in the background throughout. The Italian fullback who would replace Theo Hernandez for the Rossoneri might be considered.Milan, Italy, 6th May 2023. Pellegrini’s heart, according to the article, is set on a return to Lazio.

Leonardo Spinazzola was sent to the Italian capital in a contentious trade transaction that saw the left-back join Juventus after beginning his career at Roma.

Since that time, Pellegrini has spent the great bulk of his time with the Bianconeri on loan. He was only at Continassa for the 2021–2022 season.
