Milan to Face Lazio with an incredible Squad – Adli may lose starting spot

AC Milan will try to maintain their lead at the top of the Serie A table and make it three league wins in a row when they face Lazio on Saturday at San Siro.

The Milan team will not have much time to savour Wednesday’s triumph over Cagliari because training began today in preparation for the weekend match against Maurizio Sarri’s side.

According to MilanNews, many changes to the Rossoneri’s lineup are expected, including the return of Mike Maignan, who has been out for the previous two games due to a minor muscle ailment.

Davide Calabria is expected to replace Alessandro Florenzi at right-back, with the rest of the back four – Malick Thiaw, Fikayo Tomori, and Theo Hernandez – remaining unchanged.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tijjani Reijnders are guaranteed spots in midfield, although Yacine Adli, who started the most recent game, and Yunus Musah are vying for the final spot.

Moving on to the attack, Christian Pulisic will join Olivier Giroud, Rafael Leao, and Rafael Leao from the opening minute to complete the trident.

Maignan; Calabria; Thiaw; Tomori; Theo; Loftus-Cheek; Musah; Reijnders; Pulisic; Giroud; and Leao make up the likely Milan starting lineup (4-3-3) in that order.

Bench: Chukwueze, Okafor, Romero; Florenzi, Kjaer, Bartesaghi, Pellegrino; Mirante, Nava, and Sportiello.

Doubts: Adli-Musah (40%-60%)
Unavailable: Bennacer, Kalulu, Krunic, Caldara
In doubt: Jovic
