The manager of AC Milan considers his team the favorites to win Serie A with no European competition.

In the middle of the week, AC Milan overtook rival Inter Milan at the top of Serie A, but Rosonneri manager Stefano Pioli believes Juventus will take home the Scudetto this year.

Following their humiliating 5-1 loss in the derby, AC Milan’s 3-1 victory at Cagliari on Wednesday and Inter’s first loss of the year, 2-1 at home to Sassuolo, have brought the two rival teams to a tie for first place in Serie A with 15 points each.

Prior to their home game against Lazio on Saturday, Pioli told reporters on Friday that winning the championship was meaningless at this point in the season.

He said, “There are no simple games, but there are also no impossible games.”

Champions While Juventus is only two points behind the two Milanese teams in third place, Napoli is fifth and four points back of the leaders.Pioli anticipates a fight for the league championship between these teams, and a Juventus team with no European experience is obviously a concern.

Juventus is the favorite to win the Scudetto out of the four teams competing, but not participating in every cup might result in bonus points.

Four days following their match with Lazio, Pioli’s team will travel to take on Borussia Dortmund. Midway through the week, Noah Okafor had his first start as Olivier Giroud took a break, and the Swiss international scored his first goal for the team.

I wanted to test him as a center striker even though I was familiar with him as a winger. He was quite receptive.

“I appreciate what he accomplished at Cagliari. He obviously differs from Giroud and (Luka) Jovic in terms of personality. In some games, we will also be able to play with two forwards, according to the manager.

Yacine Adli, a French midfielder, was another player to stand out in the victory over Cagliari. The 23-year-old only made one start during the previous season, but his debut this year hinted he would have a greater role to play. Despite the fact that he didn’t play much, he had amazing patience and mental fortitude. He required some time to adjust to his new role because a midfielder plays differently than a playmaker.

Although we are aware that he is not yet flawless in that role, the manager of AC Milan remarked, “With his willingness, we can do an exceptional job.

In 12th position, Lazio is eight points behind Milan and Inter. They defeated Torino 2-0 on Wednesday, earning just their second league victory of the year.
