GOOD NEWS: Juventus anxious about player who could miss…

There seems to be some worry in the Juventus camp about whether Federico Chiesa will make it back for the game against AC Milan in a week.

This morning’s La Stampa headline (via MilanNews) said, “Juve are worried about Chiesa, so he risks missing the match against Milan.”

Chiesa was compelled to miss the Italian national team’s matches against Malta and England, but the article states that he now runs the risk of missing Milan’s Serie A fixture when play resumes.

Although Chiesa’s condition is more concerning, Dusan Vlahovic is recuperating within the allotted time limit and should return to lead Max Allegri’s team at San Siro on Sunday.

Medical examinations have ruled out muscle problems, but Chiesa hasn’t trained in over a week due to the discomfort. Tomorrow he will undergo new tests at J-Medical and Allegri is therefore waiting for news from the infirmary.
