International celebrity talks about his “brutally painful” Rangers injury…

Superstar chef Gordon Ramsay of Global TV has been talking about the injuries that cruelly ended his teenage football career with Rangers.
The TV icon discussed his football career and how things may have turned out differently if he had played at Ibrox with the High Performance Podcast.
Before suffering a horrific cruciate ligament injury that sent him to the scrap heap, Gordon Ramsay was a highly regarded young defender while still a teenager on the Rangers roster.
I was fit as a fiddle, Ramsay said, standing six feet two and naturally left-footed, so very few people could get past me.
I was a steam train; I recall performing a testimonial for the first team, receiving my first call-up, and, at the age of 18, Coisty had just made it into the first team while playing for the Scotland U21s.
Suddenly, you’re on this incredible squad, your name is on the sheet, and the back of the shirt has your number three.
When I made this 50/50 tackle, it was crunch time. I shattered my cartilage and tore my cruciate ligament while I lay there in excruciating pain.
Back then, there was no private healthcare system, and instead of being taken to Germany by the newest surgeon, you ended up on the scrap heap or rubbish heap. Because there were four, five guys behind me instantly to take my place.

Gordon Ramsay shares his anguish over his Rangers injury.

Speaking about the circumstances, Gordon Ramsay says he gave up on football because he was so devastated that his career as a player and with the Rangers was gone.

When it comes to the Beautiful Game, the tale of avoiding outcomes, purposefully dodging the news, and attempting to deal with the devastation of not making it at Rangers or in football is as old as time.

Gordon Ramsay said of the experience, “I mean, it was really painful, brutally painful.” Particularly when you see the news and your friends are succeeding and making progress.

You deliberately avoid consuming news media and do not check the scores on a Saturday afternoon at five o’clock, as you wish to break away from that.

Gordon Ramsay’s most recent remarks about the Rangers coincide with the renowned chef’s opening of a new eatery at Ibrox Stadium.

Even though Gordon Ramsay’s stint with the Rangers did not work out, he is now one of the most well-known and recognizable TV personalities in the world, and it is obvious that his time at Ibrox had a significant influence on his career.
