Everton are said to be one of a five Premier League clubs to have sent scouts to Turkey to watch Kerem Akturkoglu in action. The 24-year-old winger has started the season in fine form, notably scoring in Galatasaray’s win over Manchester United at Old Trafford and helping his country to Euro 2024 qualification this month.

Kalvin Phillips also remains in the Blues rumour mill as he is believed to be seeking a route of Manchester City in January. Former Aston Villa striker-turned-pundit Gabriel Agbonlahor has urged the midfielder to join Everton so he can “just play football.”

Meanwhile, 777 Partners insist they have provided all of the “relevant documentation” that is needed for their prospective takeover of Everton to move to the next stage, whilst the club’s Financial Fair Play hearing reportedly began this week.
