Elland Road is experiencing a flurry of activity in the transfer market as Daniel Farke is poised to add another new player after reaching an agreement on a contract in principle with an established Premier League player.

The German should now have some sense of what he has to work with in 2023–24 and where he still has to improve in terms of strength in depth as the next Championship season approaches.

Leeds suffered a severe decline during the 2022–23 season, and Farke will be anxious to prevent a repetition when the Elland Road team returns to the English second division.
