After Town gets rocked by Clarets, Edwards acknowledges that he and his Luton players are wounded.

Rob Edwards, the manager of Luton, said that the 2-1 loss to Burnley this evening had upset both him and his team.

After trailing to Lyle Foster’s goal in the first half, Town tied the score when Elijah Adebayo scored his first goal of the year by putting in Reece Burke’s knockdown following Tahith Chong’s cross.

Jacob Bruun Larsen, though, stunned Kenilworth Road by curling a beautiful goal beyond Thomas Kaminski in just 65 seconds to give the Clarets the lead once more and gift the hosts an empty victory.

Nakamba, the leading tackler in the Premier League, is praised by Edwards.

Edwards summarized his thoughts by saying, I’m extremely upset with the result, as we would be.

We’re quite flat and in pain because of how it was at the time down there.

I’m trying to get over the disappointment of losing a game, but there was a lot there and a lot that was wonderful, too.

They did, in my opinion, dominate in the first half.

I thought it was quite tight, but they shaded it, and they probably breezed right past us a few times. yet they are capable of doing it, they have a wonderful manner, and they are expansive.

We made one or two changes in the second half, and I believe we then controlled the period significantly.

The worst thing for us right now is that despite having 15 shots inside the box, we have only managed to score once.

We pushed, we used set pieces, we advanced in large numbers, we were courageous, and we were aggressive.

We refused to give them any power, which is what they wanted, but in the end, we got nothing, and that hurts.
