Opinion: Dose Jota Recommendation Worth it?

Jota wants Liverpool to sign BARGAIN star from hated RIVALS

Diogo Jota, a Liverpool player, has revealed who he would like to line up beside at Anfield.

The Reds went through a midfield revolution, with several key players leaving and others coming in to replace them, including Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo, and Ryan Gravenberch.

However, Diogo Jota, a Portuguese attacker, has encouraged his club to recruit another midfielder – Portugal teammate and Manchester City star Bernardo Silva.

When That’s Football asked Jota who he would like to play alongside at Liverpool, he replied, “Bernardo.” He’s undoubtedly one of the smartest football players I’ve ever seen, and his ability to hide the ball from opponents is exceptional.”While the 29-year-old is probably not on Liverpool’s transfer shortlist given his age and the fact that he plays for Man City, Silva could be had for a relative bargain next summer.

Silva’s release clause

This is because the Portuguese midfielder recently signed a contract extension with City. During the discussions, Silva and his team insisted on a £50 million release clause in his new contract, which will go into effect next summer.

Silva has been considering leaving City for the previous two years because he is looking for a fresh challenge, and some anticipated him to leave the Etihad this summer.

Barcelona and PSG were interested in the treble winner, but City were hesitant to lose another key midfielder after losing Ilkay Gundogan.Nevertheless, Barcelona will try to sign Silva again next summer and his release clause has been described as a ‘pro-Barca’ clause by Spanish media. The player is said to be keen on moving to Barcelona – even if his compatriot Jota would like him to come to Anfield.
