Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Romelu Lukaku, and Hakim Ziyech are set to return to Chelsea on Tuesday after their homecoming were postponed due to the trio’s unclear fates.

Romelu Lukaku, Hakim Ziyech and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are due to return to Chelsea on Tuesday after having their scheduled comeback dates pushed back once again.

The trio had an extra day added to their allowed absence from the club’s HQ while their futures remain up in the air.

They were originally due back last week but are being given additional time to explore possible moves and were not required to return to Cobham until after the squad departed for their pre-season tour in the US on Monday as they are not in boss Maurico Pochettino’s plans.

Marseille are in talks with Aubameyang, and Ziyech’s deal to Saudi Arabia fell through, but the Moroccan winger is still poised to leave.

Chelsea has been in talks with Juventus and Al Hilal about signing Lukaku, but his preferred choice of returning to Inter Milan has been ruled out when they dropped their interest.
