I HATE TO SAY THIS, BUT PAUL MERSON JOINS TOTTENHAM AFTER AMAZING WIN OVER SHEFFIELD UNITED

Paul Merson expressed his admiration for Tottenham Hotspur’s incredible comeback victory over Sheffield United on Saturday, writing on Twitter that it “hurts me to say (it)”.Once more, it was Leicester City, but this time, Tottenham supporters were able to see the magic happen in their own stadium.

After 97 minutes, it wouldn’t have surprised us if some supporters left in dissatisfaction over Ange Postecoglou’s team’s inability to overcome a resolute and ruthless Sheffield United squad.

Many would have assumed that it was time to move on because the season had begun in such a wonderful way, but Richarlison set the fire to it.

In the 98th and 100th minutes after coming off the bench, he scored and assisted both goals, sending his home fans into raptures.

Paul Merson, a Sky Sports analyst and former Arsenal player, also made a confession about that victory on Twitter.

Tottenham flying

Scores on the board, second place, attractive football, plenty of goals, forcing the opposition to commit a “Spursy,” and a boss they adore.

Please stand up, Tottenham the real.

The atmosphere around the club has significantly shifted after years and years of deflated fan sentiment!

Because few people anticipated such a drastic turnaround so swiftly, Postecoglou and several of his summer signings have all played a significant role in this.
