The Derby della Madonnina saw Inter defeat Chukwueze’s Milan by a score of 5-1.

Internazionale thrashed A.C. Milan in the San Siro, but Samuel Chukwueze, who came off the bench, was unable to have a significant impact.

In the Derby della Madonnina matchup against Inter Milan, Samuel Chukwueze entered the game in the 55th minute but was unable to save his team from losing to their local rivals, according to Soccernet.ng.

Marcus Thuram, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Davide Fratessi, and Hakan Calhanoglu all scored goals to give Inter a convincing victory over Milan.

Marcus Thuram outmuscled Milan’s Thiaw before passing the ball into the box and finding Di Marco at the far post. Di Marco then fired a cross across the face of the goal for Mkhitaryan to give Inter a 1-0 lead inside of five minutes.

In the 38th minute, Thuram scored a goal of his own. Thuram was sent wide by a low cross from Denzel Dumfries, but the Frenchman chased down the ball and sent a well-cushioned drive into the top-right corner of the net. The real deal!

After coming on in the 55th minute, Samuel Chukwueze helped Milan after Rafael Leao scored a goal for them fifteen minutes into the second half. Leao, a Portuguese player, was on goal after receiving a through ball from Olivier Giroud, and he shot the ball into the goal to spark a comeback for the Rossoneri.

Mkhitaryan skillfully restored Inter’s two-goal lead during what was quickly becoming the performance of the game. Once more deployed, Lautaro Martinez discovered Mkhitaryan and the Armenian again sent the ball into the bottom corner, making it 3-1.

Inter’s three points were guaranteed after Hakan Calhanoglu scored a spot kick with eleven minutes to go. Davide Fratessi added the icing on the cake after the ninety. Mkhitaryan sent Fratessi through on goal and the twenty-three-year-old sparked the wild celebrations for the Nerazzurri, taking his shirt off.

Inter handed Chukwueze’s Milan their first loss of the season, while Inter themselves remain unbeaten in the Serie and are top of the league.
