£46,000-a-week: Leeds united Player is set to leave next few days, bid accepted…

The Leeds United team has had a number of changes in recent years, including Marcelo Bielsa’s Premier League success, Sam Allardyce’s relegation, and Daniel Farke’s appointment to try to win promotion from the Championship at the first attempt.

The Whites are currently four points out of the play-off spots and seven points behind table-toppers Preston North End due to the former Norwich City manager’s one victory in five league games.

A player who has been with the team throughout their Premier League victories, relegation, and subsequent Championship struggle may now finally secure a permanent departure from Elland Road.

What is the most current transfer rumor regarding Leeds United?

In the end, Leeds’ summer transfer window was mixed. Tyler Adams, Rodrigo, and Luis Sinisterra had to leave, although Wilfried Gnonto remained and Joel Piroe, who had scored 20 goals for Swansea City the season before, had been acquired.

You’d be forgiven for believing that the Yorkshire club’s tenure under the 49ers Enterprises had ended now that the majority of transfer windows—including the Saudi Pro League’s—had concluded. That doesn’t seem to be the situation.

Given that the market is still open as of September 15th, winger Helder Costa may still go, claims Give Me Sport journalist Ben Jacobs. Turkish clubs are reportedly making queries.

Farke also stated to the Yorkshire Evening Post that the winger wishes to leave the club and is not part of his plans. Jacobs stated:

“Costa hasn’t generated a lot of buzz.

There have been some queries from Turkey and Saudi Arabia. We must wait and see what transpires. It’s possible that he’ll permanently leave. On the Saudi side, Al-Taawoun had inquired around a month ago, and Al-Shabab had looked at a contract under their previous board.

“A few Turkish clubs have also asked questions.” Leeds would therefore favor finding a solution there, in my opinion. But since nothing was finalized or even close to being done by the end of August, we must wait and watch what transpires now. In actuality, there are few options available from the standpoint of the player.

“So, regardless of what the club thinks, you will get some players who would rather sit it out until January or see if they can change the manager’s mind between now and then because there may be more options available to them in the new year.”

Should Helder Costa be sold by Leeds United?
Costa has already had loan stints in Saudi Arabia and Valencia without landing a permanent job, so he’s not exactly in demand around Elland Road these days.

With Costa making an estimated £46k per week at Leeds, selling him would also free up some money on the Yorkshire club’s payroll. Despite the domestic window shutting at the beginning of the month, a move would undoubtedly be advantageous to all parties involved, whether it occurs this summer or in January.
