In his Friday press conference, Anderlecht’s current head coach made it clear that Kompany’s pursuit of the Norway U21 international would not end in the same manner that his pursuits of Cullen and Delcroix had.

When you consider that Arnstad played almost 40 games in all competitions for Anderlecht in 2022/23, his desire to keep the all-action 19-year-old comes as no surprise. Arnstad, an aggressive, tough-tackling enforcer who can also play in at the back if needed, racked up 10 yellow cards during his debut season; what he lacks in experience, he makes up for in excitement.
