After missing three months of training due to an injury, the midfielder is now back at Liverpool.

In an era of potential midfield departures, it’s refreshing to get some good news from that section of the field, and one player appears to have made his long-awaited comeback from injury.

Thiago Alcantara wasn’t ready to rejoin the squad after photographs circulated of him reporting for the first day of pre-season training in his own clothing.

However, the most recent images show our No.6 back in his training gear, and it’s reasonable to say that his teammates were overjoyed to see him – three months after his last game for the club.

Despite transfer rumors surrounding the 32-year-old’s impending departure, if these photographs are any indication, he appears to be extremely delighted to be a Red.
