MILAN LOSE 1-0 TO SERIE C’S TRENTO IN A MILANELLO FRIENDLY MATCH,
Milan lost a friendly today with the second-string players and some new signings and Primavera playing.
After winning the Trofeo Silvio Berlusconi last night against Monza in a penalty shoot-out, Milan today had another pre-season match, facing Trento from Serie C.
The game was not televised so only those at Milanello had the chance to watch. Milan played without the starters of the Monza game, as well as without Charles De Ketelaere (mercato reasons), Alexis Saelemaekers (fever), Marko Lazetić, Fodé Ballo-Touré, Divock Origi (out of the plans), Junior Messias, Davide Calabria (injuries) and Noah Okafor (coaching staff decision as part of his pre-season).
Stefano Pioli played a 4-3-3, with Yunus Musah, Yacine Adli and Tommaso Pobega in midfield, and Samuel Chukwueze, Lorenzo Colombo and Luka Romero in attack. Trento ended up winning the match, with Leon Šipoš scoring the only goal of the match in 66′.
Milan have now failed to keep a clean-up in every pre-season game so far. Next game is on Saturday against Étoile Sportive du Sahel at Milanello and then another match on Sunday against Novara.
