Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, revealed something interesting about his body.

The Kansas City Chiefs have just finished an incredible season that saw them win Super Bowl 58.As Kansas City prepares for another run, it is in the midst of an important NFL free-agency period.

Even with his success the year before, Patrick Mahomes’ “dad bod” physique continues to draw ridicule. Mahomes reacted on social media to the renewed excitement.

Leading Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is proud of his “dad bod” physique.

When a shirtless photo of Mahomes went viral in January, he first replied to fans on social media on X.

Mahomes wrote, “Yoooo, why do they have to do me like that!?!?” with three laughing emojis.

“Like, I got babies!!!!” Mahomes stated it vehemently.

With the picture making a comeback, Mahomes is standing by his actions. He acknowledged that his unique build adds to his ability to perform well in his role.

“I definitely have a little bit of a dad bod. I will also add that, for a quarterback, my body is excellent. According to Time.com, Mahomes stated, “You’ve got to have some padding in there to handle the hits that we take.”

The standout quarterback for the Chiefs has made good use of his physical attributes. He hasn’t had to take too many hits, though. Mahomes has performed admirably at removing the ball from possession and eluding sacks. During the playoffs, he showed his exceptional ability to dodge the pocket.

In Kansas City’s 26-7 victory over the Miami Dolphins in the Wild Card round, Mahomes did not take any sacks. The following week, in a 27-24 Divisional Round victory over the Buffalo Bills, he accomplished the same remarkable feat. Mahomes wasn’t defeated until the Chiefs played the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship. Despite his two sacks, Kansas City prevailed 17–10.

Then, in Super Bowl 58 against the San Francisco 49ers, Mahomes took three sacks. Naturally, he overcame the defense, and his team prevailed 25–22 in the end. There’s still a ton of fantastic football left in him.

The finest of all time?

After winning the Super Bowl in 2024, Patrick Mahomes cemented his status as one of the all-time great NFL quarterbacks. The 28-year-old has already won two titles and two MVP awards in the league in only seven years before this. His performance on the field is also remarkable.

Mahomes had a staggering 4,183 throwing yards and 12 touchdowns at the end of the 2023–24 season, yet this was not even his greatest year. Mahomes had a career-high 5,250 yards and 41 touchdown passes in 2022–2023. Even if the standout quarterback is unique, he falls short of the requirements to be regarded as the greatest of all time.

Although Mahomes agreed that he’s off to one of the best beginnings in league history for a quarterback, all-time rankings are determined by a player’s longevity.

Mahomes told Time, “You have to develop the consistency of a career.” “I believe my run has been excellent. So far, I believe I’ve done a fantastic job. However, you cannot discount the contributions made by Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, or Tom Brady over a prolonged period of time. They were at such a high level for such a long time, and there are so many guys.

You have to do that year after year in order to be in that discourse. You cannot take for granted the work you accomplished the previous year.I’ll talk about [the goat conversation] once I finish playing.

There are no indications that Patrick Mahomes will slow down. He will undoubtedly be remembered as one of the best players of all time if he keeps up this play.
