Sad News: Niners Officially Annouces The Resignation and Depasture Of A……..

Ranking AFC clubs ahead of the NFL Draft, explaining why the 49ers lost a draft pick, and NFC team rankings for free agency

Greetings and salutations on this Tuesday’s Pick Six newsletter!

To start, I have some bad news (or good news, depending on how much you like me): I’m going to be gone for the remainder of the week. On Wednesday, Cody Benjamin will be in charge, and on Thursday and Friday, Tyler Sullivan will take over the newsletter to wrap up the week. Tyler recently got married, so please be kind to him.

In any case, this is a jam-packed newsletter for you: In addition to assigning grades to each NFC team based on their performance in free agency, we will also act as matchmakers, pairing the best team with the top free agents still available.

Here’s your daily reminder, as always, to encourage all of your friends to subscribe to the newsletter. All you need to do is click this link to get them registered. Now let’s review everything.

Actually, I’d like to publicly ask everyone to participate in the Pick Six podcast bracket challenge before we get into the rundown. You can enter for free, and if you succeed in winning, you’ll receive a prize. I’m sure you’ll ruin me, but sadly, there’s no reward for doing so. To enter, just click this link and create an account.

1. Today’s program: evaluating each NFC team in the open market

Will Brinson and Tyler Sullivan joined me for the most recent podcast episode, and the three of us put on our professor hats to assign grades.

Based on their actions during their first week of free agency, the three of us evaluated each of the 16 NFC teams. The results for the NFC East are as follows:

You may listen to our entire broadcast by clicking this link, if you’d want to hear the three of us assign grades to each NFC team. By clicking this link, you can view the show on YouTube as well.

2. A free agency matchmaker that pairs the top ten unsigned players

We decided to let Cody Benjamin use some of his matchmaking magic because nobody enjoys playing matchmaker more than him.

We requested that he assign the top ten available free players to the team that best suits their needs. Now let’s see where he has four of the best players headed:

3. Ranking AFC teams following the initial free agency period

We decided it would be a good idea to rank every NFL team now that the first wave of free agency has concluded, and that is precisely what we are going to do. I retract my statement; we will only rank the AFC teams. Later in the week, we’ll discuss the NFC clubs.
