The following bout for Francis Ngannou following Anthony Joshua has already been confirmed.
After competing against Joshua, Ngannou plans to go back into the MMA cage, but he also wants to face Tyson Fury again.
Following his fight with Anthony Joshua, Francis Ngannou is scheduled to return to the cage and make his PFL debut.
After quitting the UFC early in the previous year, Ngannou signed up with an MMA company. However, he postponed his debut in order to focus on the greatest boxing bouts. He defeated and nearly stopped Tyson Fury in October of last year, and he will face Joshua tonight in Saudi Arabia.
If Ngannou prevails, he will go after the victor of Fury’s impending undisputed matchup with Oleksandr Usyk on May 18. However, Ngannou has also promised to fight Renan Ferreira in the PFL and return to mixed martial arts.

Last month, the Brazilian defeated Ryan Bader in under twenty-one seconds to win the heavyweight title. Ngannou was present at the cageside for the fight, which took place in Riyadh. After the bout, Ferreira confronted the Cameroonian. “I am the true victor here; I am the one who breaks and sets records,” he declared. Francis, how are you doing? Now let’s get started. I’ve always been prepared to battle the greatest in the world, whether it is Francis in a cage or the boxing ring, wherever he chooses to do it.
“I’ve proven inside the SmartCage that I am already one of the greatest heavyweights of all time, and I will continue to prove it.” Plans for a battle between the potential opponents were dashed when Ngannou was spotted exiting the Kingdom Arena while Ferreira was doing his post-fight news conference.
Ngannou is sure he can surprise Joshua, but he is also certain of what would happen if the two fighters engaged in mixed martial arts. He remarked, “There are moments when I just find it funny that we are fighting under boxing regulations, but what would happen if it was a ‘free’ bout conducted under mixed martial arts rules? This man is someone I would smoke. None of them are allowed to enter my backyard; I am the only one who enters theirs. At once, I would take two of them.
Although I have gained some experience from the previous battle, camp, and preparation for this one, my mentality remains the same. Even though I’m facing the two greatest boxers in the world, this is only my second fight. Since I am the underdog, I’m going to demonstrate to you that it is possible to be the underdog and still hold your ground.”
