The NFL coach and Veronika Khomyn, his wife, announced the birth of their first child in a witty tweet. “Transactions with the Los Angeles Rams:
Delivered Jordan John McVay,” the team’s account posted. Shortly after, McVay revealed the reason behind Jordan John’s name and acknowledged that he and Khomyn had welcomed a son.
The NFL coach said at a press conference, “His original due date was when my grandfather passed a year ago on the 31st.” “Which is just pretty special, and even if you don’t think there is a higher power, you can still recognize that something unusual is happening because of certain things that happen to man.”
He went on, “My grandfather had a special relationship with Veronika, and he had a great influence on me and our family as well.” I felt that naming him after my grandfather was the only fitting choice. His influence is still felt today. I’m sure he’s grinning down at what happened yesterday.
After dating for ten years after meeting in college, McVay and Khomyn tied the marriage in June 2022 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. McVay revealed that he and the former Ukrainian model were expecting in July 2023.”It was wonderful to be able to spend time with my wife, particularly since it’s exciting that our little boy will be arriving in a few months. I appreciate that process so much,” McVay said.
