BREAKING NEWS: Dan Campbell Doesn’t See the Ceedy Duce Feud as Important…

“No Personal Fouls,” Says Dan Campbell, Regarding the Ceedy Duce Feud

For Lions defensive back Ceedy Duce, the game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Detroit Lions on Sunday will represent even more than just a chance to advance to the Super Bowl.

Duce—who was once known as C.J. Gardner-Johnson—played for the Philadelphia Eagles, who defeated the 49ers. Consequently, throughout the offseason, a conflict erupted between him and 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel.

A sort of online spat between the two groups has been brewing on social media and may spill over into Sunday’s game. Coach Dan Campbell, nevertheless, is unconcerned about any possible problems concerning the outstanding defense.

All you have to say is “no personal fouls,” according to Campbell. He’s competent. He is adept at walking the line without stepping over it.”

Duce admitted that being one of the few players on the squad with experience playing in an NFC Championship game adds a certain level of urgency.

He did concede, though, that once the game gets underway, the only thing that changes is how the squad will celebrate if it wins.

“That’s the NFL; the intensity level always rises. Every weekend, guys enter with a level of determination meant to win. The title game is in front of it this weekend, that’s the only change. Don’t change, (expletive),” Duce stressed on Thursday. “You still need to play football for sixty minutes. The way you celebrate at the end of the game has been the only thing to change if you win. We want to win and emerge on the other side, I believe.

“I’m not talking about myself; this group deserves it. The guys who have been here and went 0–10–1 are deserving of this. The men that were selected for this draft are deserving of this (crap).”

Update on Frank Ragnow’s health

Campbell stated that he believes center Frank Ragnow will participate in the game on Sunday. Despite having both an injured ankle and a sprained knee, the veteran played the entire game in the Divisional Round victory against Tampa Bay.

“You are aware of Frank’s good health. “Frank is prepared to leave,” Campbell remarked. You’re not going to keep him out of this one, really. Additionally, he is improving daily, so he will be prepared.”
