However, a messy divorce two decades ago and a recent breakup have seen Belichick’s personal life hit the front pages.

Belichick married businesswoman Debby Clarke in 1977 while he was a wide receivers coach for the Detroit Lions.

The pair shared three children—Amanda, Stephen, and Brian—with the latter currently a safety coach with the Patriots.

Shenocca denies having a romantic relationship with Belichick, who had already separated from Debby at the time.

Per court papers, via the Post, she claimed Belichick was “just a friend,” and lawyers described their relationship as “platonic.”

Belichick has never publicly commented on the alleged relationship.

In 2007, Belichick began a romance with Linda Holliday, with the pair meeting at a nightclub in Palma Beach, Florida, per the Daily Mail.

Holliday, a TV presenter, became the President of the Bill Belichick Foundation, an organization that ”provides coaching, mentorship, and financial support to individuals, communities, and organizations.”

Belichick is worth an estimated $60 million, per WBSM.

He owns a swathe of property in Nantucket, as well as a gorgeous getaway home in Jupiter, just miles from where he first met Holliday.

Belichick and Holliday’s main base during the season was in Bingham, Massachusetts, at a luxury $1.8 million mansion.

Per NESN, the “private” Belichick would spend much of his time in Nantucket where he began buying up property in 1979.

Belichick is a book lover, with NFL Red Zone host Scott Hanson recently delighting fans by revealing the coach had read the “entire Harry Potter” set.

Last September, it was reported that Belichick had split from Holliday after 15 years.

Per Page Six, the pair were involved in a “drawn-out, back-and-forth breakup for nearly a year,” which has “made Patriots executives nervous.”
