Breaking News: san francisco 49ers Head Coach Announced His Departure In……….

San Francisco 49ers fired head coach Jim Tomsula
The San Francisco 49ers announced the dismissal of head coach Jim Tomsula following a dismal season in 2015.

In response to the announcement, 49ers CEO Jed York issued a statement:

For the past nine years, Jimmy has been an invaluable part of the 49ers organisation. We all know he is a man of integrity, and we have always valued his services to the community and on the pitch. The entire organisation is appreciative and happy to have collaborated with Jimmy on such a close project. We all hope that the future holds much success for him and his family.

York told reporters on Monday, “We took a gamble on someone we really believed in, and ultimately that didn’t work out.”

York continued, “We didn’t get this one right.”

After being chosen to succeed Jim Harbaugh, the head coach had a horrible campaign, finishing 5-11 in his only season with the team.

In response to a question regarding Harbaugh on Monday, York said to reporters that he was “not surprised at all” by his former coach’s success at Michigan.

After his tenure in San Francisco, Tomsula will be highly sought after in the NFL as an assistant coach or coordinator. Although it’s unlikely that he’ll receive a head coaching opportunity right away following this season with the Niners, he’s a well-respected football mind that will probably gain traction with a staff eventually.
