Browns wide receiver status is “up in the air” for Thursday’s Jets game.

The Cleveland Browns appear to lose an important player after each victory.

It follows that Amari Cooper could miss Thursday night’s game against the New York Jets after his game against the Houston Texans set a team record.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network tweeted that the Browns standout is now sidelined with a heel issue.

According to sources, Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper (heel) is hoping to play against the Jets tonight, but his condition is still uncertain.

It is a difficult, short week. Cooper is familiar with his physical appearance. Near kickoff, they’ll have a better understanding.

Although he hopes to play against the Jets, his status is still uncertain, particularly because they are now having a short week.

For the whole season, this has been the Browns’ narrative.

In terms of health, the squad hasn’t been able to recover from the loss of Nick Chubb to Deshaun Watson.

Even so, given everything this team has been through since the beginning of the season, they still have an opportunity to punch their tickets to the postseason with a victory over Robert Saleh’s squad.

We should anticipate another demanding workload for Cooper, who has solidified his rapport with Joe Flacco over the previous month—particularly in deep throws—should he be able to suit Sunday.

It goes without saying that the Jets’ formidable defence and cornerback Sauce Gardner won’t likely let him run for more than 250 yards like he did on Sunday against Houston, but if he can play, he should still be the centrepiece of the passing game.

As it has been throughout the season, the next man up will take over if not.
