James Robinson and Bo Melton are added to the Packers’ active roster.
For the game, Green Bay moves two from the practice squad up to the injured reserve.

Bo Melton The Green Bay Packers activated FB Henry Pearson and S Benny Sapp III to the active roster for gameday, put TE Luke Musgrave and RB Emanuel Wilson on injured reserve, and added WR Bo Melton and RB James Robinson from the practice squad to the active roster. General Manager Brian Gutekunst made the announcement on the deals on Wednesday.
Melton has been a member of the Green Bay practice squad for the entire 2022 season, having joined the team after being cut from the Seattle Seahawks practice squad on December 27, 2022. The Seahawks first chose him out of Rutgers University in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft (with pick No. 229 overall). Before coming to Green Bay, Melton was a member of Seattle’s practice squad for the whole 2022 regular season. With 56 games played, 164 catches, five games with 100 yards or more in receptions, and 2,011 receiving yards, he concluded his collegiate career ranked No. 3 in programme history. Melton was chosen All-Big Ten in his last season by Phil Steele’s College Football (fourth team) and Pro Football Focus (third team).
Robinson is a fourth-year player who was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois State in 2020. He has had two spells on Green Bay’s practice squad this season. He spent time this past summer with the New England Patriots and New York Giants in addition to playing in 39 games with 32 starts for the Jaguars (2020–22) and New York Jets (2022). Robinson has 514 carries for 2,262 yards (4.4 average) and 18 touchdowns during his career; he also has 91 catches for 617 yards (6.8 average) and five scores. During the 2020–22 season, his six 100-yard running performances tied for 10th place in the NFL. The most scrimmage yards by an undrafted rookie in the common draft period was recorded by Robinson in 2020, with 1,414 yards.
