The Ohio State football coach was carjacked by teenagers, leading to a Cleveland police pursuit.

The four teenagers were apprehended following a police helicopter-led pursuit, during which they are alleged to have been on a carjacking spree.

Cleveland.com reports that on Monday, four teenagers carjacked Ohio State football tight ends coach Keenan Bailey near Ginn Academy in Cleveland, Ohio.

According to team spokesman Jerry Emig, Bailey was not hurt in the incident and is back out recruiting for Ohio State. There are now four people under arrest.

It was claimed that the four teenagers were on a carjacking rampage. They were taken into custody in Cleveland following a police helicopter chase.

 

Bailey was elevated to tight ends coach this season, and he is now in his first year as a full-time assistant. He joined Ohio State’s coaching staff in 2016 and has since worked part-time. After serving as an offensive quality control coach for three years, during which he contributed to the development of Ohio State’s wide receiver and quarterback units, he became the head coach’s senior advisor in 2022.

On December 29, No. 7 Ohio State and No. 9 Missouri will square off in the Cotton Bowl.
