Kyle Shanahan of the 49ers received a letter of suspension from the NFL administration.

Kyle Shanahan, the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers, received a letter of suspension after publicly saying goodbye to the team’s fans on social media with contempt. Pickett has been visibly furious about his circumstances there, having been tricked by Pittsburgh into thinking they would sign Russell Wilson to start as quarterback.

With the Steelers, Pickett thought he could challenge Wilson for the starting position. Pickett Wilson will play with the first team in the spring, according to head coach Mike Tomlin. In answer to Pickett’s trade request, the Steelers gave their prior first-round pick to the Eagles.

Pickett bid Pittsburgh farewell on Instagram. He talked about his experience in the city with both the Pittsburgh Panthers and the Steelers without specifically addressing the Steelers. Pittsburgh said it best: I’m grateful! My biggest life change was coming to this city seven years ago. I’m grateful to everyone who helped me along the journey and to the incredible individuals I happened to meet.

I had talks and formed lifelong connections that I will always treasure. I am honored to be able to play for the team that first ignited my love for the game in my early years, and I’m looking forward to this new chapter in my career.
